Tyler Welch Hello! I am the co-owner, manager, and Head Trainer at True Fitness. I have been with the True Fitness family since January of 2019. I moved to Flagstaff from Limerick, PA in August of 2018. I came out here looking for new opportunity, and for the chance to pursue my passion for the outdoors, hiking, and trail running. I have my B.S. in Exercise Science from Penn State, and I am certified as a Personal Trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM). I have been teaching exercise classes and sport-specific training since 2015. I have been an athlete all of my life, playing soccer and rugby at Penn State, and weight lifting/cross training since 2011. In my free time, you can probably find me out on trail somewhere with my dog “Chaco”, or cooking something good up in the kitchen! My classes center around the principle of Ahimsa (non-harming, love and compassion for the body), breath-work, mindfulness, and yogic philosophy.
