Regular workout routines used to be confined to multistoried fortresses lined with treadmills and weight stations. True Fitness challenges this conventional format of a fitness center by offering its members a more interactive training experience through group settings that keep people accountable and engaged. We are a community of positive and energetic people that support each other as we strive to reach our goals together.

Karen Anderson

Certified Trainer

Karen has been a fitness, nutrition and wellness professional for over 30 years. She graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison where she earned her bachelor’s in exercise and nutritional science. Karen enjoys helping people to correct posture, decrease or eliminate physical pain during activity and love to move clients toward full physical function and restoration.  She is an ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist, NASM Certified Personal Trainer and Corrective Exercise Specialist, AFAA Certified Group Exercise and Kickboxing Instructor, and FITOUR Certified Advanced Pilates Instructor.

Dedrick Wiese

Certified Trainer

Dedrick graduated from Northern Arizona University where he played ice hockey and earned his bachelors’s degree in fitness-wellness (minors in biology and psychology). He is passionate about and committed to delivering safe, effective, fun and interesting workouts to all fitness-training clients. Dedrick is an ACE Certified Personal Trainer and ACSM Certified Exercise Physiologist.

Ellen Drucker

Certified Trainer

Ellen has been teaching yoga for over ten years to yogis from ages 10 to 80. She received her 200-hour yoga teacher training at Kripalu Center for Yoga and Health in Massachusetts and 500-hour yoga teacher training at Inner Vision in Tempe, Arizona. Her classes center around: the principle of Ahimsa (non-harming, love and compassion for the body), breath-work, mindfulness, and yogic philosophy. Additionally, her classes support clients in building strength, balance and flexibility. Ellen is a Level II Certified Facial Stretch Therapist and Life Stretch instructor.

Preston Gilbert

Certified Trainer & Owner

Preston graduated from the University of Southern Maine where he played lacrosse and earned his bachelor’s degree in business. His background includes over 10 years of fitness teaching, boxing instruction, and athletic coaching experience with individuals, small groups, and athletic teams of all ages. Preston is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Certified Fitness Golf Professional, Starrett System Certified Mobility & Mobility (MobilityWOD) Specialist, CrossFit Certified Level 1 Trainer (CCFT), and USA Certified Boxing Coach (Level 1).
